The Texas A&M University System is undertaking a $22.4 million renovation project for the School of Dentistry’s Main Building in Dallas. The project aims to remodel and repurpose vacated space following the opening of the new Clinical Education Building in 2020, accommodating research labs, a new SIM clinic, dental hygiene facilities, and pediatric faculty offices. Construction began in September 2024 and is expected to be completed by June 2026. This renovation represents a significant modernization effort for the school, which has been part of downtown Dallas since 1905.
